• 1979 — Joined the family company, Reşatlar Mensucat A.Ş.
• 1992 — Founded Reteks Tekstil A.Ş.
• 1997 — Left Reşatlar Mensucat A.Ş. and continued his business activities at Reteks Tekstil A.Ş.
• 2002 — Served as a member of the Board of Directors of Gaziantepspor Association.
• 2007–2008 — Served as President of the Gaziantep Rotary Club.
• 2019 — Founded Reteks Import Export Acrylic Yarn Industry and Trade Inc. to manage the group’s export operations.

He is married to Dr. Bahar Kaleoğlu. He is the father of Teoman, Aysun (MSc Architect), and Başak (Geomatics Engineer).

• 2004 — Joined the export department of Reteks Tekstil A.Ş.
• 2007 — Became Chairman of the Board of Reteks Tekstil A.Ş.
• 2013 — Founded Teoman Önal Kaleoğlu Mechatronics, a sole proprietorship established to conduct R&D on the use of 3D printers in textile manufacturing. The company ceased operations in 2015.
• 2019 — Completed the online associate degree program in Web Design and Coding within Anadolu University’s Department of Computer Technologies.
• 2019 — Became Chairman of the Board of Reteks Import Export Acrylic Yarn Industry and Trade Inc.

He is the father of Kerem and Selen.
